SOUNDDESIGN/RESTAURATION

The sound makes the film!

The right interplay of voice, sound, sound effects, and music - in short, the sound design - determines which emotions are conveyed with the video material. If the ‘right’ emotions are evoked in the target audience, they will consume the video material to the end.

Good, ‘clean’ sound is essential, which is why I subject every recorded sound to a ‘restoration’.

SOUND RESTORATION

What does sound restoration mean?

Sound restoration removes all unwanted or disturbing noises from the sound recording. Thanks to state-of-the-art sound restoration software, it is now possible to remove electromagnetic interference and other frequency-changing noise from sound recordings with comparatively little effort. So-called ‘mouth clicks’, ‘clicks’, ‘breathers’, ‘eating sounds’ and even ‘clipping’ can usually be completely restored or eliminated.

What makes sound design so essential:

Our brain associates sounds with emotions. Everyone knows the tension-inducing music from ‘Mission Impossible’, which gets the pulse racing just by hearing the sounds.
Your company not only has visual branding, but the music you use also characterizes the identity of your company and can lead to a positive association with your products.
From footsteps in the long corridor to chirping birds outside and lift music - the sounds used in the film the sounds used in the film lend the recorded video material a unique character.

The sound design is included in all my projects.
